AV Living Lab and Nervtech launch UAM simulation hub for city planners

AV Living Lab has joined forces with the company  Nervtech in order to launch the ARCH UAM Global Challenge for Trendsetting Cities. The challenge offers cities a chance to win a VTOL UAM Flight Simulation Hub with a Digital Twin of their city.

The company strongly believes that the challenge will allow virtually flying in megacities by the end of 2021, making the Jetson era finally a reality. When it comes to UAM, more and more cities are excited about its arrival, however, flying cars are not yet available. This makes it hard for city leaders, policymakers, architects, mobility providers, and citizens to experience and understand how it will change the way people and cargo will move. It will save the time lost due to traffic jams and have a positive impact on the environment.

We believe the joint forces of AV Living Lab and Nervtech have created the solution – cities can make the virtual UAM Flying a reality today, with the VTOL UAM Flight Simulation hub. It supports everything from route optimization, testing the fear of flying and overall comfort, noise levels, and the impact of sustainable flying in the urban areas.

The Application for the Challenge is open until the end of February 2021. The Selection procedure ends in March 2021, when we will announce the top ten finalists whom we will invite to individual presentations of potential partnerships. Among them, we will announce three winners by the end of May 2021 that will be able to implement ARCH UAM flight simulation hubs by September 2021 for free.
